A reason to smile: West shares positive messages within the school community on Day Without Hate.

Peyton Jones, Staff Reporter

On April 28, Downingtown West celebrated Day Without Hate, which represents unity within schools. Day Without Hate spreads kindness throughout Downingtown West and continues to be one of the school’s most celebrated days.

Posters and banners are hung throughout the halls, sticky notes are placed on bathroom mirrors, and stickers are handed out each year to remind students that West is a positive place where people are united in kindness. It continues to be a day where students and staff come together to recognize the positive effects a small amount of kindness can have within a community.

Throughout the year, good times and bad, West can truly appreciate these memorable moments that will last a lifetime.
