A Great Time to Rescue

Being at home nowadays we have a great amount of time on our hands.  Depending on your family and home situation, this may be a great time to rescue a new addition to your family — a pet!

When adopting a pet you need a plentiful amount of time to get the pet acclimated to your home. What a better time than now to go and rescue a pet to keep the family busy with a new addition?

You can visit your local ASPCA and rescue a new friend, as most branches in the area are open for adoption visits. Just make sure to bring some hand sanitizer and wear your handy dandy mask.

Another great way to meet some pets without having to spend time outside of the house is to visit your local ASPCA’s website, check out some of the animals they have, and read each pet’s description to get a good idea of what the pets are like. A new pet owner states, “I never had enough time to rescue a pet between work and the kids but now it was just perfect.” Finding a fur-ever friend might be the silver lining your quarantine needs!

The Brandywine Valley ASPCA has a selection of both cats and dogs that you can check out on their website. Why wait?! Save an animal today.
