On Friday, December 6th, 2019, the Chester County community got into the holiday spirit at the 40th Annual QVC West Chester Christmas Parade!
This event was hosted by QVC and 6ABC meteorologist Adam Joseph. The night began with the much anticipated US Air Force Jingle Elf Run and Walk, followed by the parade and opening of the Christmas Village.
The streets were decorated with bright lights and decorations donated by local businesses. There were delicious treats, childhood characters like the Berenstain Bears and, of course, hot chocolate! There was also a massive Christmas tree which was a popular attraction as well.

O Tannenbaum! The Christmas tree outside the courthouse is always a crowd favorite.
I have gone to this parade for the past three years and my favorite part is always seeing the Downingtown East and West Marching Band. They always sound amazing and the parade is a great way for them to continue performing after football season.
If you weren’t able to catch this year’s parade you can enjoy a recorded version on 6ABC on Christmas Day. Happy Holidays!
