Coming off a 12-8 season in 2017, the Downingtown West Girls’ Lacrosse team looks to build upon last season’s successes and improve their record in the 2018 season. Led by Coach Conzentino, senior Katie Hoerman, juniors Olivia DiGiorgio, Corinne Bednarik, Peyton Mottice, Emily Feeney, Tabitha Rodriguez, and sophomore Callie Lundmark, this year’s team has great potential, obvious chemistry, and an amazing will to win.

So far on the season the girls are 2-0, with a 14-9 win over Bayard Rustin in the season opener and a 13-6 win over Kennett on Tuesday, April 3rd. West now enters perhaps the most challenging part of the season schedule: three games in three days. They play at Downingtown East on Thursday, at Central Bucks West on Friday, and at home vs. State College on Saturday.

After an exciting and promising start to the season, the team looks ahead knowing that it’s only just begun. There’s a lot more work left to be done. Go Whippets!
